Hanging Tent Camp at Sandhan Valley: This event is scheduled to happen from 29^th December to 30^th December. This is a weekend trip and one can easily be a part of this. For this Kalsubai trek, one has to deposit an amount of Rs 3750. If one has decided to be a part of this trek, then they can experience activities like rappelling, living in a hanging tent, valley crossing and camping.     Sandhan valley is one of the greatest canyons of India, located in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. This one is a combination of valley and canyon. This canyon is located near the fort of Ratnagarh and it is also famous by the name of ‘valley of suspense’. It is quite an experience to walk through a narrow streak with 300 feet rock walls on both sides. If you stay there at night, you get to see pollution free sky full of stars and there is also a reservoir on the side. Overnight Trek to Rajmachi and Kondane Caves: This is happening from 30^th December to 31^st December. To be a part of this trek, one has to deposit an amount of Rs 2500. In this trek one can get to see the Manoranjan Fort and also enjoy the campfire at night. There will be food accommodation and proper trekking facilities. Rajmachi village is a home for two forts. These were built by Maratha warrior Shivaji in 17^th century and this one being 16 km away from Lonavla station is a very popular trekking route. Both the Shri Vardhan fort and Manoranjan fort are worth visiting. One can also visit the Kondane caves from here.

 Harishchandra Gad Trek via Khireshwar: This event is organised by the ‘Mumbai Trekizens’ and it is happening on 6^th and 7^th January in the coming year. One has to deposit an amount of Rs 1600 to be a part of this trek. This cost includes the transportation along with 2 lunch, 1 dinner, breakfast and tent stays. The staying accommodation will be on a 4 sharing basis and the food that will be provided in veg. This is a hill fort and the trekking difficulty is of medium level. This fort is an ancient one and it is believed to be built in the 6^th century under the rule of Kalchuri Dynasty. Here one can find some caves which may have been carved out during the 11^th century. There are idols of Lord Vishnu there.
